About VLabSource and Virtual Labs
Using PC virtualization technology, VLabSource will
allow Wireshark University to evaluate a candidate’s
ability to efficiently and effectively troubleshoot network
communications and perform network forensics with
Wireshark.
VLabSource will enable a Wireshark Certification
Program candidate to log into a web-based interactive
virtual lab environment and launch a real instance of
Wireshark on a virtual network. The candidate will then
demonstrate their ability to analyze a network by
capturing network traffic and working on trace files
captured in real-time. Using VLabSource’s proprietary
progress monitoring technology, Wireshark University
will score a candidate’s test based on the completion of
numerous tasks that evaluate the candidate’s ability to
troubleshoot and analyze network performance and
security.
